Recent Successes of Sold Horses

Divine Rhapsody

Divine Rhapsody , a horse that was bought by me at the Land Rover sale in Goffs , broken and pre-trained at Boleybawn and sold on , won the Land Rover bumper at the recent Punchestown Festival. He netted €59,000 in the process on this , his first run .He has been let off for a summer at grass but is sure to be a star for the future as he is only a June 4 year old and was taking on 5 year old horses with existing form.

Boleybawn Zarina

Zarina is just a 4 year old and has been competing sucessfully in young event horse classes in the U.K since she was sold in April 2009. Here is a e-mail that her new owner was kind enough to send me along with this picture;

"Hi there Ronan

Just thought I would drop you a line.

Zarina or Boli as she is now known has settled very well here in Yorkshire.  We have continued with her schooling on the flat and over jumps as well as enjoying hacking and putting more miles on her clock.

We took her to Bramham Horse Trials a couple of weeks ago and she did the Burghley Young Event horse 4 year old class. She was a star putting in a foot perfect, confident, bold clear SJ (she was one of the very few!!!) and an accurate dressage test. She was in the top 10 for quite a while which for an amateur is very good! All the other riders were professionals so we were delighted for her. She took the whole day in her stride. Photo attached...she will start eventing this season doing special 4 year old intro classes then hunt with me all winter..."
